Exhibition of historical photographs by the the count of Raudondvaris Benedykt Henryk Tyszkiewicz

 

Exhibition-jewellery installation Under the Sun by Vita Pukštaitė-Bružė.

 

Exhibition of 18th century etchings Cities of Western Europe, Their Palaces and Parks from the collection of Lithuanian National Museum of Art.

 

The permanent exhibit of the Palanga Amber Museum unveils the story of the Tyszkiewicz family life in Palanga. Visitors may also explore the vast collection of immense amber pieces holding 50 million years old specimens of flora and fauna. The highlight of the exhibit – Sun Stone, that weighs 3,524 kg and holding the famous trapped lizzard and its travel stories.

 

The Chapel Exhibit Hall shows works by artist Vita Pukštaitė-Bružė along with the exhibition-jewellery installation Under the Sun, consisting of new metal objects and jewellery works from amber, enamel, copper, silver, iron, mammoth bone, and other materials.

 

Balzac Café is open at the Palanga Amber Museum offering a cup of coffee or tea along with French desserts and snacks .Guests may also immerse in authentic palace atmosphere and enjoy the view from the terrace to the Birutės park and rose garden. In the evenings, the garden lights up with the most beautiful colours.
